The Leather Case

Akira is still sobbing through the aftershocks, wrists bound above his head, when Hibari's thumb finally lifts and Kanato's fingers slide free—and Hibari's voice comes warm and sharp: 'You should hear yourself, Akira. Those sounds.' Kanato's hand slips under his balls, cupping his groin with a lusty, mischievous grin, asking if he likes it kinky, because Hibari found his manga stash and some of those covers were filthy. Akira tries to deny it, but the words break into a moan as Hibari lifts his tail from the sheets and drags his tongue up the underside, and Kanato reads aloud from the list—'tail base, underside'—while Hibari pulls a leather case from under the mattress and unzips it to reveal anal beads with a tail-shaped plug, a sleek vibrator, nipple suckers, and a slender urethral rod. 'You've been so good for us,' Hibari murmurs, hand closing around Akira's thigh to pull him closer. 'Time to see how much more you can take.' Kanato and hibari praise or mock Akira about how lewd he sounds and looked. Akira was too overstimulated that he can't do or say anything back accept lay there receiving the humillitation. Akira still half consious that he doesn't realise kanato and hibari are move again. Akira is still trembling on the bed when Hibari pulls a leather case from under the mattress, unzipping it to reveal a collection of toys—anal beads with a tail-shaped plug, a sleek vibrator, nipple suckers, and a slender urethral rod. Kanato reads the next spot on the list aloud—'tail base, underside'—and Akira's face burns as he realizes they're going to use every single one. Hibari's hand closes around Akira's thigh, pulling him closer, his voice low and teasing: 'You've been so good for us, Akira. Time to see how much more you can take.' Akira's protest dies in his throat as Kanato's fingers trace the sigil, sending a jolt of heat through him, and he knows he's not getting out of this until they've tested every toy on his overstimulated body. Hibari teasing Akira say he saw some of Akira's manga has even more spicy cover art, mention how some of it was almost kinky. Kanato hand slip under Akira's balls and groin as kanato play with Akira's groin, looking at him with lusty mischiveous eyes asking akira if he like it kinky that's why he has a lot of kinky spicy manga. Akira try to deny it but his words cut into moan as Hibari taking Akira's tail that lay on the bed and start licking it. 'what is it again?' hibari ask before continue to nipping the tip of Akira's tail and rubbing it from the base to the tip with his other hand. Kanato and hibari keep teasing Akira's sensitive spot until Akira literally climax without any penetrasion. But hibari remind him that because of the contract akira can't ejaculate without hibari's or kanato's permission. They don't even have to use a cock ring or any blocker cus the contract will physically make Akira unable to ejaculate without their permission, they can stimulate Akira for hours and Akira will only get dry orgasm that make him feel even more sensitive on each climax until he get the permission to cum. Hibari then move to push the anal beads in until the tail shape butt plug make Akira looks like he has two tails as kanato continue playing Akira's groin with his mouth and his hand stimulating Akira's sensitive tail, Incubus mark, and nipples as Hibari kissing and licking Akira's sensitive neck and ears from behind.

The sobbing didn't stop. It couldn't. Akira lay there with his wrists still bound above his head, the leather cuffs creaking softly with every shudder that rolled through him, and he couldn't tell anymore where the pleasure ended and the ache began. His stomach was wet. His thighs were wet. The sheets beneath him had gone dark with it, and his tail — that treacherous, overgrown thing — lay limp across the mattress like it had given up on him too.

Hibari's thumb lifted first. Slow, deliberate, dragging one last slick circle over the place it had been pressing, and Akira's whole body flinched after it like a dog chasing a hand that had stopped petting.

"Ah—" The sound came out before he could catch it. High. Wounded. He turned his face into his own arm, into the crook of his bound elbow, trying to hide the heat climbing up his neck.

Kanato's fingers slid free next. Akira felt every knuckle of them leave him, one by one, and his body clenched around the emptiness like it was trying to keep them, and he made another sound — a small, mortified, involuntary sound — and pressed his face harder into his arm.

"There it is," Hibari said.

His voice came from somewhere behind Akira's shoulder, warm and bright and entirely too pleased with itself. The mattress dipped as he shifted his weight. Akira felt the heat of him settle closer, felt the loose fall of Hibari's breath against the back of his neck, and his skin rose in gooseflesh all the way down.

"You should hear yourself, Akira. Those sounds." Hibari's mouth was so close that Akira could feel the shape of the words. "I've been recording streams for six years. I know what a good take sounds like. That was a good take."

"Don't—" Akira started, and his voice cracked in the middle of the word, and he stopped.

"Don't what?" Kanato asked.

He had moved up the bed. Akira hadn't registered it — he'd been too busy drowning in his own aftershocks, too busy trying to remember how breathing worked — but now Kanato's weight was there beside his hip, and Kanato's hand was sliding down the inside of his thigh, and Kanato's grin was right above him, amber eyes catching the lamplight like something with a pulse.

The hand kept going. Past the crease of his thigh. Under him. Cupping his balls in a loose, proprietary palm, and Akira's hips jerked up off the bed before he could stop them, and Kanato laughed — soft, delighted, the laugh of a man watching a trap he'd set snap shut.

"Look at you," Kanato said. "Still trying to get more. I've got my hand on you and you're still pushing into it. That's greedy, Akira."

"I'm not—"

"You are." Kanato's thumb rolled once, slow, across the tender skin beneath, and Akira's protest died in a moan that he tried to bite off and failed. "See? That's a yes. That's the sound of a man who wants more."

Hibari had shifted again. Akira felt him reach across the mattress — felt the drag of his arm past Akira's hip — and heard the quiet rustle of paper. Pages. Akira's eyes cracked open and found Hibari sitting cross-legged beside him, holding a slim volume in one hand, his messy hair falling into his face and his grin wide enough to show teeth.

"So," Hibari said, conversational, like they were discussing the weather. "I found your manga stash."

The bottom dropped out of Akira's stomach.

"The shelf behind the laundry basket," Hibari went on, flipping the book open to a marked page. "You know, the one you think nobody can see. I was looking for a phone charger." He turned the book toward Akira, and the cover art was unmistakable — two figures tangled in something that was definitely not a handshake, drawn in the sort of detail that left nothing to the imagination. "This one's got a leash on the cover. There's a collar. There's a very small amount of clothing."

"That's not—" Akira's face was on fire. He could feel it, the heat of it, all the way up into his scalp. "That's not mine, I don't know how that—"

"There's a bookmark in it," Hibari said. "Page forty-two."

"It's—"

"Page forty-two is the good part," Hibari said. "I checked."

Kanato's hand was still cupping him, still warm, still moving in that slow, maddening way, and Akira couldn't think, couldn't string a defense together, could only lie there with his wrists bound and his face burning and his boyfriend reading his pornography out loud like a bedtime story. Kanato leaned over him, and his voice dropped into something lower, something with a hook in it.

"So you like it kinky, Akira?" His thumb pressed just under the head, and Akira's hips bucked again. "That why you've got a whole shelf of it? Collars. Leashes. Rope. This one—" he tilted his head toward the book, "—this one's got a whole chapter about a plug with a tail on it. You dog-eared that one too."

"I didn't—" Akira gasped, and the gasp turned into a moan halfway through, because Hibari had reached down and picked up his tail.

Just picked it up. Casual. Two fingers under the base of it, lifting it off the sheets like it was a ribbon, and Akira's entire spine arched off the mattress and his bound hands yanked at the cuffs and a sound came out of him that he had never made before — a long, thin, helpless sound, half whimper and half sob, and his tail tried to curl around Hibari's wrist and couldn't, because Hibari was holding it too gently for that, holding it like he was about to do something terrible and kind.

"What is it again?" Hibari asked. His voice was still bright. Still cheerful. He lowered his head, and Akira felt the wet drag of a tongue up the underside of his tail, from the base to the tip, slow and flat and thorough. "This spot?"

"Ah—ah, Hibari—"

"Or this one?" Hibari's other hand closed around the base, and he rubbed — firm, circular, right where the tail met Akira's spine — and Akira's vision went white at the edges.

"Nnh—"

"You're going to have to be clearer than that," Hibari said, and nipped the tip of Akira's tail with his teeth.

Akira screamed. It wasn't a word. It wasn't anything. It was a raw, open-throated sound that filled the bedroom and bounced off the walls, and his hips ground down against Kanato's palm without his permission, and his cock — which had no business being interested in anything ever again — twitched against Kanato's fingers and started to fill.

"Oh, look at that," Kanato murmured. "He's hard again. Already."

"That's the tail for you," Hibari said, and licked him again, and Akira sobbed.

They kept at it. That was the thing Akira couldn't get his head around — they kept at it. Hibari worked his tail with hands and mouth and teeth, dragging his tongue up the underside, rubbing the base in slow circles, closing his lips around the tip and sucking, and every single thing he did sent a spike of heat straight through Akira's spine and down into the sigil on his stomach, which had begun to glow again, faint and gold, pulsing with every pass of Hibari's tongue. Kanato's hand worked his groin in counterpoint, thumb rolling over the head, fingers cupping and squeezing, and Kanato's other hand found Akira's nipple and pinched it — just hard enough — and Akira's back bowed and he made a sound like he was being torn in half.

"Hah—" His breath came in pieces. "Hah—Kanato—Kanato, I can't—"

"You can," Kanato said. He was watching Akira's face with an expression of pure, unhurried enjoyment, the way a man watches a fire he built himself. "You've been so good tonight. You said the word. You asked for it. This is your reward."

"This isn't—" Akira's voice broke. "This isn't a reward—"

"Isn't it?" Kanato pinched the nipple again, and twisted, and Akira's whole body convulsed.

The heat built and built. It had nowhere to go — that was the trick of the contract, the thing Akira kept forgetting and remembering and forgetting again — the sigil on his stomach glowed brighter and brighter, gold spilling up through his skin, and his cock ached and his balls drew up tight and everything in him was screaming for release, and the release didn't come. It couldn't. The contract held him like a hand around his throat, and the pleasure kept stacking, kept climbing, kept pressing him up against a ceiling he couldn't break, and Akira's eyes rolled back and his mouth fell open and he came — dry, wrenching, whole-body — with a cry that turned into a sob at the end, and the contract didn't let him spill a single drop.

"There," Hibari said, and licked the tip of his tail one more time, and Akira shuddered so hard the cuffs rattled. "That's one."

"One," Akira echoed, dazed. His voice sounded like it belonged to someone else.

"You remember the rules." Hibari set the tail down gently on the sheets — gently, like it mattered to him — and sat back on his heels. "You don't come unless we say. We can do this all night, Akira. We can make you come dry a dozen times. Every one's going to feel worse and better than the last one." He tilted his head. "That's how the contract works, right? You get more sensitive every time. By the end you won't be able to tell the difference between my hand and a feather."

Akira's throat worked. He wanted to say something — something sharp, something with an edge, something that would remind them that he'd been a SPIA agent, that he'd survived things that would have broken either of them, that he was not a thing to be handled. What came out was:

"Nnh—"

"That's what I thought," Hibari said, and grinned.

Kanato's hand left Akira's groin and Akira made a sound of protest before he could stop himself — a small, needy, humiliating sound — and Kanato laughed and patted his hip.

"Patience," he said. "We're not done with you."

He reached across Akira's body. Akira heard the drag of something heavy across the floor, then the click of a zipper, and he turned his head — slow, muzzy, still half-lost in the fog of the dry orgasm — and saw what Kanato had pulled out from under the mattress.

A leather case. Flat, dark, about the size of a laptop, with a brass zipper running around three sides. Kanato unzipped it with one hand, the way a man opens a book he's read a hundred times, and laid it open on the bed beside Akira's hip.

Inside, in neat rows, in cut foam, were toys.

Akira's breath stopped.

Anal beads. A string of them, graduated, the largest the size of a plum, and at the end of the string — instead of a ring, instead of a base — a plug shaped like a tail. Furred. The same dark color as Akira's own. It lay in its slot like something waiting to be worn.

Beside it, a vibrator. Sleek, matte black, tapered, with a curved head and a dial at the base. Beside that, a pair of nipple suckers, glass, with small brass screws at the top to adjust the pressure. And at the end of the row, in its own narrow slot, a urethral rod — slender, silver, smooth, with a rounded tip and a flared base.

"Oh," Akira said. It came out very small.

"Yeah," Kanato said. He was reading from his phone — he'd propped it against his knee, and Akira could see the glow of a webpage on the screen, the same one they'd been reading earlier, the one with the diagrams. "Let's see. We did the neck. We did the chest." He scrolled. "Tail base. Underside." He looked up, and his grin widened. "That's next."

"We just did that," Akira said. His voice cracked. "Hibari just—"

"We warmed it up," Hibari said. His hand closed around Akira's thigh — warm, broad, firm — and pulled. Akira slid across the sheets toward him, helpless, his bound hands dragging above his head, and Hibari settled him between his knees with the ease of a man moving furniture. "Now we test it."

"You've been so good for us, Akira," Kanato said. He set the phone down. He picked up the anal beads, and the string of them clinked softly, and the tail-shaped plug swung and caught the lamplight. "Time to see how much more you can take."

Akira opened his mouth to say something — to say no, to say wait, to say he needed a minute, to say anything at all — and Kanato's free hand came down and traced the sigil on his stomach. One finger. One slow circle. And the heat went through Akira like a current, and the words died in his throat, and what came out instead was a moan that he couldn't have stopped if he'd tried.

"That's it," Kanato said. "That's the sound." He leaned down and kissed the sigil, soft, right over the glowing gold, and Akira's hips rolled up and his tail thrashed against the sheets. "Now be good and hold still."

Hibari's hand was on his hip, holding him down. Kanato's hand was on his stomach, holding him open. The first bead pressed against him, cool and slick, and Akira's breath went ragged, and his eyes found the ceiling, and somewhere far below the city hummed on without him, indifferent, and he was here, in this room, in this bed, in their hands, and there was nothing to do but take it.

"Breathe," Hibari murmured, close to his ear. "You're doing so well."

And Akira breathed, and the bead slid in, and he made a sound that was half surrender and half prayer, and neither of them mistook it for anything else.

The lube came out of the case's side pocket. A small bottle, dark glass, the label worn soft from handling, and Kanato uncapped it with his teeth and poured without measuring — a long, slow spill of it down the crease of Akira's thigh, over his cock, pooling in the hollow where his hip met the mattress. Cold. Akira's whole body seized at the first touch of it, and then the cold burned away and the heat came up under his skin like something answering a call.

Because it wasn't just slick. He knew that now. The scent reached him a half-second after the temperature did — his own cologne, the one he wore to streams, bergamot and something darker underneath — and the recognition did something to him that no amount of touching ever had. His own smell, poured over his own body, and the sigil on his stomach flared gold in answer, bright enough to throw light on Kanato's knuckles.

"There," Kanato said. He watched the glow spread, watched Akira's stomach twitch under it. "You feel that? That's you. That's your body saying thank you."

"Nnh—"

"Exactly." Kanato's voice was warm as a hand on a stove. He poured again, a second drizzle, straight over the head of Akira's cock, and Akira's hips jerked up off the sheets and his mouth opened on a sound with no shape to it. "There we go. That's the sound I wanted."

Hibari had the book open again. He'd propped it against his knee, and he was flipping pages with the lazy rhythm of a man reading the paper on a Sunday, and every few pages he'd stop and turn the cover toward Akira — that cover art, that impossible tangle of limbs and leather — and tilt his head like he was appraising a piece at a gallery.

"You know," Hibari said, "this one's got a collar with a little bell on it. And this one—" flip, "—this one's got two people and a rope and what I'm pretty sure is a riding crop. Very tasteful. Very restrained." He looked up, and his grin was all teeth. "You've got a whole shelf of these, Akira. Behind the laundry basket. What was it — fourteen? Fifteen?"

"That's—" Akira's throat worked. "That's not—"

"Fifteen," Hibari said. "I counted."

Kanato's hand slid under him. Slow, the way it always was when he was enjoying himself — palm flat against the underside of Akira's balls, fingers curling up into the crease of his groin, lifting and cradling and squeezing with a pressure that was just shy of too much. Akira's legs fell open without being asked. He heard himself do it, heard the soft wet sound of his own skin shifting against the sheets, and his face went hot enough that he had to close his eyes.

"So," Kanato said. He was leaning over him, and his amber eyes were bright and mean and delighted, and his hand kept working that slow, proprietary roll. "You like it kinky, Akira? Is that why you've got a whole library of it? Collars. Leashes. Rope. Little bells." His thumb dragged up the length of Akira's cock, smearing the lube, and Akira's spine bent like a bow. "That why you keep it behind the laundry basket? Because you're embarrassed? Or because you like the idea of somebody finding it?"

"I don't—" Akira gasped. "I don't like—it's not—"

"It's not what?" Kanato asked, and squeezed, and Akira's words broke apart into a moan that came out high and open and entirely beyond his control.

"It's not—"

"Hm." Kanato's grin widened. "You're going to have to finish a sentence eventually, Akira. I'm starting to think you can't."

Hibari reached across the mattress and picked up Akira's tail.

Just like that. Two fingers under the base of it, lifting it off the sheets the way you'd lift a ribbon out of a drawer, and Akira's whole body convulsed before Hibari had even done anything — before he'd done anything but hold it — and the sound that came out of Akira's throat was long and thin and wounded.

"Oh, there it is," Hibari said, pleased. "That's the one." He turned the tail over in his hands, examining it, running his thumb along the underside where the fur was shortest and the skin beneath was thinnest. "What is it again? This spot?"

He put his mouth on it.

Flat tongue, base to tip, one long slow drag up the underside of Akira's tail, and Akira's vision went white at the edges and his bound hands yanked at the cuffs above his head and his hips ground down against Kanato's palm with a force that surprised even him.

"Ah—ah—Hibari—"

"Or this one?" Hibari asked, and closed his other hand around the base and rubbed — firm, circular, right where the tail met the small of Akira's back — and Akira's back arched clean off the mattress.

"Nnh—"

"Still not clear." Hibari's teeth closed on the tip of the tail. A soft nip, barely pressure, and Akira screamed. It wasn't a word. It wasn't anything. It filled the room and came back off the walls, and his cock jerked against Kanato's fingers and started to fill in earnest, thickening under Kanato's palm, and the lube made it slide and shine and Akira could hear it, could hear every wet stroke of Kanato's hand, and that sound was somehow worse than anything they were doing to him.

"Look at him," Kanato murmured. "He's dripping. I've barely touched him and he's dripping." He spread the lube down the shaft with two fingers, then circled the head, then slid his hand back down and pressed his thumb into the crease beneath his balls and held it there, a steady pressure, and Akira's legs shook. "You hear that, Hibari? That's the sound of a man who wants it."

"I hear it." Hibari licked up the tail again, slow, and Akira sobbed. "He's so loud tonight. Louder than the stream. Louder than he's ever been." He lifted his head, and his bright eyes found Akira's face. "You know I record for a living, right? I've got a good ear. And that—" he nodded at Akira, at the sweat on his brow and the open, gasping shape of his mouth, "—that's not the sound of a man who doesn't like it."

"I—" Akira's voice cracked. "I don't—"

"You don't what?" Hibari asked, and took the base of the tail between thumb and forefinger and rubbed in a slow circle, and Akira's protest turned into a moan halfway through, the last word dissolving into something that wasn't language at all.

They kept at him. That was the thing — they kept at him, and they kept talking, a low steady current of praise and mockery that ran under everything they did, and Akira couldn't answer any of it. Every time he opened his mouth to deny it, to say I don't like it, I never asked for this, I'm not — I'm not — the words came out as sound. Hibari's tongue on the underside of his tail. Hibari's teeth on the tip. Kanato's hand rolling his balls, cupping and squeezing and dragging up the length of him, thumb pressing the slit, fingers sliding down to press at his entrance and just hold there, not pushing, just present, a promise. Kanato's other hand found his nipple and pinched it — hard, then harder — and twisted, and Akira's back bowed and his mouth fell open and he made a sound like something being pulled apart.

"Hah—hah—Kanato—"

"Say it," Kanato said. His voice was soft. Almost gentle. "Tell me you like it."

"I—"

"You can say it. Nobody's going to hear. It's just us." His thumb rolled over the head again, and Akira's hips bucked. "Just us, Akira. Tell me you like it and I'll keep going."

Akira's throat worked. He wanted to say no. He wanted to say something sharp, something with an edge to it, something that would remind them both that he'd been an agent, that he'd survived worse than this, that he was not a thing to be spread open and read like one of his own books. What came out was:

"Nnh—"

"That's not a no," Kanato said, and smiled, and squeezed.

The heat built and built. It had nowhere to go — that was the trick, that was the thing Akira kept forgetting and remembering and forgetting again — the sigil on his stomach glowing brighter and brighter, gold spilling up through his skin like light through paper, and his cock aching and his balls drawing up tight and every nerve in his body screaming for release, and the release not coming. The contract held him. It held him the way a hand holds a throat, and the pleasure stacked and stacked and pressed him up against a ceiling he couldn't break, and Akira's eyes rolled back and his mouth fell open and his whole body locked —

— and he came. Dry. Wrenching. His hips grinding down against Kanato's palm, his back bent off the mattress, his bound hands pulling at the cuffs hard enough that the leather creaked, and nothing spilled. Nothing. Not a drop. The orgasm tore through him and left him empty, and the sigil flared once, bright, and settled, and Akira collapsed back onto the sheets with a cry that turned into a sob at the end.

"There," Hibari said, and licked the tip of the tail one last time, and Akira shuddered so hard his teeth clicked. "That's one."

"One," Akira echoed. His voice didn't sound like his own. It sounded thin and far away and very young.

The word hung there, small and awful, and Akira lay under it with his wrists still bound and his chest still heaving and the gold light of the sigil fading down through his skin like coals going dark. His thighs were wet. His stomach was wet. The lube had pooled in the dip of his navel and run down his side onto the sheets, and he could smell himself — that cologne, bergamot and the darker thing under it — rising off his own overheated skin until the whole room smelled like him, like the inside of his own closet, like the fourteen books behind the laundry basket all at once.

Kanato's hand hadn't stopped. That was the first thing Akira understood, slowly, the way you understand a sound in the night — the palm still cupped under him, the fingers still working that slow, proprietary roll, unhurried, as if the orgasm had been a small thing that happened on the way to something else.

"One," Kanato said. He sounded pleased the way a man sounds pleased with a meal he's only halfway through. "Hibari, did you hear him? He said it back. He's learning."

"He's not learning," Hibari said. "He's just too far gone to argue." He had Akira's tail in his lap now, stroking it flat between two fingers like a man smoothing a ribbon he intended to tie. "Look at his face. He's not even in there."

Akira wanted to say something to that. He wanted to say I'm here, I'm right here, I can hear every word you're saying about me — and the sentence assembled itself in his head, sharp and whole and ready, and then he opened his mouth and what came out was a long, unsteady exhale that broke in the middle into something like a whimper, and Kanato laughed, soft, delighted, and Akira's face burned so hard he had to turn it into the pillow.

"There it is again," Kanato said. "That's the sound. Hibari, that's the one — that little catch at the end. He does it every time he tries to talk."

"I know," Hibari said. "I've been listening."

Kanato reached for the bottle. He didn't measure — he never measured — he just tipped it and let it run, a long glassy thread of it down the shaft of Akira's cock, over the head, into the crease, and then he pressed the mouth of the bottle against Akira's entrance and squeezed, and Akira felt the cold flood of it there, thick and slick and startling, and his whole body flinched up the bed a half-inch before Kanato's other hand caught his hip and pinned him flat.

"Nnh—ah—"

"Shh," Kanato said. "It's just lube. You'll want it in a minute." He set the bottle down and spread the excess with two fingers, circling Akira's entrance with a lazy pressure that didn't push, just pressed and released, pressed and released, and Akira's hips followed his hand without permission, tilting up, opening, and he heard the wet sound of it and wanted to die.

"You're doing it again," Hibari said mildly. He was watching Akira's hips, the small involuntary roll of them. "You're asking for it and you don't even know you're asking."

"I'm not—"

"You are. You just did it twice." Hibari's thumb dragged the length of the tail, base to tip, slow, and Akira's sentence died where it stood. "That's what I mean. You can't even finish the denial. It's cute."

"It's not—"

"It is," Kanato said, and slid one finger in to the first knuckle, just that much, and held it there, and Akira's whole spine curved off the mattress and his bound hands pulled at the cuffs and the sound that came out of him was high and broken and completely without dignity. "See? Cute. Look at him trying to hold still."

Akira was trying to hold still. That was the humiliating part — he was trying, he was concentrating on it, on keeping his hips flat and his breathing even and his mouth shut, and his body had stopped taking instructions. His thighs were shaking. His cock lay heavy against his stomach, flushed dark, still wet, and every time Kanato's finger moved inside him the head of it jumped and a fresh bead of clear fluid welled at the slit and ran down, and he could feel it, could feel himself leaking onto his own belly like a man who hadn't come in weeks instead of one who'd just come dry a minute ago.

"He's dripping again," Kanato observed. "Hibari, look. He's dripping again."

"That's the contract," Hibari said. He'd stopped stroking the tail and was just holding it now, both hands, the way you'd hold a rope you were about to pull. "The dry ones don't empty him. They just stack. He's got nowhere to put any of it, so it keeps building." He tilted his head at Akira, bright-eyed, cheerful, merciless. "You're going to get more sensitive with every one, you know. By the end you won't be able to take a hand on your tail without screaming."

"I—" Akira's voice cracked. "I can't—"

"You can," Kanato said. He withdrew his finger, slow, and Akira's body clenched after it, chasing it, and Kanato smiled and didn't put it back. "You've been doing it all night. You just don't like hearing it out loud."

Hibari let go of the tail and leaned over the side of the bed. Akira watched him do it through half-lidded eyes, without understanding — the movement was just movement, Hibari's shoulder dropping out of view, the mattress dipping — and then there was a sound, a long metallic zip, and Akira's brain caught up a half-second too late.

The leather case came up onto the bed. Flat, dark, worn at the corners, and Hibari unzipped it the rest of the way and folded the top back and there it was, laid out in fitted foam like instruments in a surgeon's tray, each one in its own little bed: a string of graduated beads ending in a plug shaped like a tail, the fur on it the same shade as Akira's own; a vibrator, sleek and matte black and longer than Akira's hand; two small silicone cups on a chain; and last, in its own narrow channel, a slender silver rod, thin as a chopstick, with a rounded head that caught the lamplight.

Akira's stomach dropped through the mattress.

He knew that case. He knew it the way you know a scar — he'd seen it once, months ago, half-open on the floor of Kanato's closet, and he'd looked away and never asked and never thought about it again. Now it was open on the bed between his spread knees and every piece in it was going to go inside him or onto him, and his body — traitor, traitor — clenched at the thought and leaked another thread of fluid down his belly.

"There he goes," Hibari said softly. He'd seen it. Of course he'd seen it. "He recognized it."

"Of course he did." Kanato had the list out — the folded paper from the case's lid, the one with Ririmu's neat handwriting down the margin — and he flattened it against his thigh and read aloud, unhurried, the way a man reads a recipe. "'Tail base, underside.'" He looked up. "That's next. We did the tip. Now we do the base."

Akira's face went hot from the scalp down. They were going to work through the list. All of it. Every line Ririmu had written, every spot she'd marked in that calm clinical hand, and Akira knew — with a clarity that cut through the fog of overstimulation like a blade — that he was not getting out of this bed until they'd tested every single thing in that case against every single spot on that paper, and that his body was going to let them, was going to help them, was already opening and slicking and trembling in anticipation of it.

"Kanato," he said. It came out small.

"Mm?"

"I can't—"

"You can." Kanato's hand came down and traced the sigil. Two fingers, light, following the gold curve of it where it glowed under Akira's skin, and the touch went through Akira like a struck bell — heat flooding up his spine and out to his fingertips, his nipples tightening, his cock jerking against his stomach, his tail whipping once in Hibari's grip hard enough that Hibari had to tighten his hold. "See? That's not me. That's the mark. It wants this."

Akira's protest died in his throat. It was true. That was the worst of it — the mark was warm under Kanato's fingers, warm and eager, and the heat kept spreading, and his own body kept answering it, and there was no version of the next hour in which he said stop.

Hibari's hand closed around his thigh. Firm, warm, and he pulled — dragged Akira down the sheets toward him, toward the open case, until Akira's ass was off the pillow and his bound hands stretched taut above his head and his knees fell wide on either side of the case, and he was close enough now to smell the leather and the faint clean scent of the silicone and to see, up close, the little tail on the plug, the way the fur on it was a shade too dark to be his.

"You've been so good for us, Akira," Hibari said. Low. Warm. Right against his ear, because Hibari had leaned in close now, chest to Akira's shoulder, and his breath was hot on Akira's neck. "You took the first one so well. Time to see how much more you can take."

Akira opened his mouth. He had a whole sentence ready — I don't want to, I can't, I've had enough, please — and it came out as one long, wavering moan that ended in his own name, and Kanato laughed again, and Hibari's teeth found the shell of his ear and closed, gently, and Akira's whole body bowed up off the bed.

Hibari's teeth stayed at his ear a moment longer — just the shell of it, just enough pressure to hold him there — and when he finally let go, Akira heard the wet sound of his own breath sawing in and out of his throat like something broken.

"Kanato," he tried again. It came out in three pieces. "Kanato, wait—"

"Mm?" Kanato didn't look up. He had the paper flattened against his thigh again, one finger tracking down Ririmu's neat handwriting like a man following a recipe he intended to follow exactly. "Wait for what?"

"I need—" Akira's hips shifted on the sheets. He didn't tell them to. They just did, a small restless roll, and the leather creaked above his head and he heard it and hated himself for it. "I need a minute. Just—just a minute, please—"

"You had a minute." Kanato's thumb found the sigil again, and pressed, and Akira's whole sentence came apart into a sound he couldn't have spelled if he'd tried. "You had a minute while Hibari was reading you your own books. You spent it leaking on my hand."

"That's not—"

"It's on my wrist." Kanato turned his hand over, and there it was, catching the lamplight — a smear of clear fluid across the heel of his palm, thin and shining. He showed it to Akira the way you'd show a man his own signature on a contract. "That's you. That's what a minute looks like."

Akira turned his face into the pillow. The cotton smelled of the laundry soap Hibari used, and under it, faintly, of himself — that cologne again, bergamot and the darker thing, and he pressed his nose into it and wished the bed would open and take him.

Hibari had shifted. Akira felt the mattress move, felt the warm bulk of him settle in behind Akira's shoulder, felt the loose fall of his hair brush against Akira's cheekbone. Hibari's arm came over him — casual, comfortable, the way a man drapes an arm over a dog he's about to make sit — and his hand found Akira's chin and turned his face back out of the pillow, gently, two fingers and a thumb.

"Don't hide," Hibari said. He was close enough that Akira could see the individual lashes, the bright wet shine of his eyes, the small crease at the corner of his mouth that meant he was enjoying himself more than he'd admit. "You're prettier when you don't hide."

"I'm not—"

"You are, though." Hibari's thumb stroked once along Akira's jaw, and Akira's eyes fluttered half-shut before he caught them. "You've got that face. The one you make when you're trying to remember how to be angry." He grinned. "It's not working."

"You're not even listening," Hibari said, delighted. "Look at him, Kanato. He's gone."

"He's not gone." Kanato's voice had gone low and pleased, the way it did when he'd found the exact edge of something and was deciding whether to push. "He's still in there. He just can't get the words out anymore." He tilted his head, studying Akira the way a man studies a painting he's thinking about buying. "Aren't you, Akira? Say something for us."

Akira opened his mouth. What came out was a sound with no consonants in it — long, wavering, rising at the end like a question — and Kanato laughed, quiet and warm, and Hibari's hand tightened on Akira's jaw.

"That's not a word," Hibari said. "Try again."

"Hnn—"

"Close." Hibari's thumb dragged across Akira's lower lip, pressing it down, holding his mouth open. "One more time."

"Kana—" Akira's eyes had gone glassy, unfocused, the pupils blown wide enough to swallow the brown. He was looking at Kanato but not seeing him, or seeing him through something — through the fog of the last hour, through the heat still crawling under his skin. "Kanato, I—"

And then it broke apart into nothing, because Kanato's hand had moved — slow, unhurried, the way it moved when he wanted Akira to watch it happen — down the flat of Akira's stomach, over the sigil, over the soft give of his groin, and cupped him. Just cupped him. Fingers wrapping around the whole of him, cock and balls together, warm palm pressed flat against the underside, and Akira's spine came off the bed in a long bow and his bound hands snapped taut against the cuffs and he made a sound that wasn't a word and wasn't a moan but something between them, something torn.

"There it is," Kanato said softly. He didn't move his hand. He just held Akira there, held him in that arched, trembling position, and looked at him with those amber eyes gone dark and bright at once. "That's the sound I wanted."

Hibari had leaned back. Akira felt the mattress shift, felt the warm press of Hibari's chest leave his shoulder, and somewhere far away in the fog of his own body he registered that Hibari was reaching for something. He couldn't turn his head. He couldn't do anything but lie there with Kanato's hand wrapped around him and his own hips making small, involuntary circles against that palm, chasing friction that Kanato wasn't giving him, that Kanato would never give him, that Kanato was holding just out of reach the way he held everything.

"Akira." Kanato's thumb moved — one slow stroke up the underside of his cock, root to tip, and Akira's whole body jerked like he'd been touched with a live wire. "I asked you a question."

"Wha—" Akira's voice came out cracked. "What—"

"I said, do you like it kinky?" Kanato's eyes were laughing at him. "Hibari found your manga shelf."

The words took a full three seconds to arrive. Akira watched them land — watched the meaning of them cross the fog and hit — and his face went from flushed to scarlet in the space of a single breath, heat climbing his throat and his cheeks and the tips of his ears until he could feel his own pulse in his temples.

"That's—" His voice cracked again. He tried to swallow. "That's not—those are just—"

"Mm?" Kanato's hand was still moving. Slow, lazy, a stroke every few seconds, just enough to keep Akira's hips twitching, just enough to keep the words coming out in pieces. "They're just what?"

"They're just—" Akira's eyes squeezed shut. "They're just stories, they're not—"

"Some of them had really nice cover art," Hibari said from somewhere behind him, cheerful as a man discussing the weather. "The one with the two guys on the balcony? That one was almost—what's the word." A pause. The sound of a zipper, slow and deliberate, teeth by teeth. "Explicit."

Akira made a sound like he was being strangled. "That's—that's not—"

"And the one with the office setting," Hibari went on, undeterred, "the one where the boss has the—" he made a vague gesture Akira couldn't see but could absolutely imagine, "—the thing. With the tie. That one wasn't even subtle, Akira."

"I didn't—" Akira's hips bucked as Kanato's thumb found the spot just under the head, pressed, held. His whole sentence collapsed into a moan that ended high and thin, and he heard himself make it, heard how it sounded, and turned his face into his own shoulder like he could hide from his own voice.

"You didn't what?" Kanato asked, mild as milk.

"I didn't—" Akira gasped. "I didn't know anyone would—"

"Would look?" Hibari's voice was right at his ear now, warm and amused. "Akira. You live with three boyfriends. Of course we looked."

And then Hibari's hand closed around Akira's tail.

Akira didn't see it happen. He only felt it — the warm grip of Hibari's fingers closing around the base, the way they'd closed around it a hundred times tonight, and his body had already learned to brace for that, already learned to expect the jolt. But Hibari didn't stroke it. Hibari lifted it. Lifted the whole length of it off the sheets, and Akira felt the strange weightless pull of it, the drag at the base where it joined his spine, and then —

— and then Hibari's tongue dragged up the underside of it, root to tip, slow and wet and deliberate, and Akira screamed.

Not a moan. Not a whimper. A scream, short and sharp, cut off by his own throat as his whole body convulsed — hips snapping up, shoulders driving back into the mattress, bound hands yanking hard enough at the cuffs that the headboard knocked against the wall. The tail whipped in Hibari's grip and Hibari held it, held it steady, and did it again. Slower this time. Flatter. The whole wet width of his tongue pressed to the underside, dragging up, and Akira's vision went white at the edges and his mouth opened and nothing came out at all.

"Oh," Hibari said, sounding genuinely pleased. "Oh, that's good."

"What's it doing?" Kanato asked. He hadn't stopped his hand. He was watching Akira's face with the focused, delighted attention of a man watching a fire he'd set. "His face is doing something."

"It's twitching." Hibari licked him again, and Akira's whole body jerked like a fish on a line. "The tail. It's twitching against my tongue. It's like it doesn't know whether to pull away or push in."

"Ask him."

Hibari's mouth left the tail — Akira felt the cool air hit the wet stripe Hibari had left, felt it prickle and burn — and Hibari's voice came from somewhere above him, soft and curious. "What is it, Akira? Pull away or push in?"

Akira couldn't answer. His mouth was open and his chest was heaving and the only sounds coming out of him were small, broken, rhythmic — hnn, hnn, hnn — timed to the pulse in his own throat.

"He can't," Kanato said. "Look at him. He's not even here."

"He's here." Hibari's teeth closed gently on the tip of the tail — just the tip, just the very end, a soft nip — and Akira's whole body bowed off the bed again with a cry that cracked in the middle. "He's just not in charge anymore."

Kanato's hand moved. He'd been holding Akira's cock and balls together, warm and still, and now he shifted — his palm sliding down, his fingers spreading, and Akira felt the pad of one finger find the soft skin behind his balls, the place where the base of him met the rest of him, and press. Just press. And Akira's hips rolled up into it helplessly, and Kanato made a small, satisfied sound.

"There," he said. "Right there. That's where it starts, isn't it? The tail. It comes out of you right there." His finger circled, slow, the same slow circle he'd been making on the sigil, and Akira's whole lower body clenched around nothing. "I can feel it. When you twitch, I can feel it move under the skin."

"Kanato—" Akira's voice was barely a voice. "Kanato, please—"

"Please what?"

"Please—" He didn't know. He didn't know what he was asking for. His hips were rolling in a slow, helpless rhythm now, up into Kanato's hand and down onto the sheets, and Hibari's mouth was back on his tail — not licking this time, just breathing on it, warm and wet, and the anticipation was worse than the touch, worse than anything, and Akira's eyes were wet at the corners and he didn't know when that had happened. "Please, I can't—it's too—"

"Too what?" Kanato's finger pressed harder. "Too much? You said that an hour ago. You said it ten minutes ago. You're still here."

"I can't—"

"You can." Kanato leaned down and kissed the sigil — just once, soft, the way you'd kiss a bruise — and Akira's whole body arched into the touch like a plant turning toward light. "You've been so good, Akira. You're doing so well."

The praise hit harder than the touch. Akira felt it land somewhere behind his ribs, felt it spread, felt his own body answer it with a fresh wave of heat that had nothing to do with the sigil and everything to do with the way Kanato had said his name. He made a sound — small, wounded, grateful — and Hibari laughed against his tail.

"He likes that," Hibari said. "Say it again."

"You're doing so well," Kanato repeated, and this time he was watching Akira's face while he said it, and Akira's eyes fluttered shut and his mouth fell open and he made that sound again, that small wounded grateful sound, and his hips rolled up into Kanato's hand like he couldn't help it, like his body had decided on its own that praise was something to be fucked into.

Hibari's mouth closed over the tip of the tail and sucked.

Akira came.

It happened without warning, without penetration, without anything but Hibari's mouth on the tip of his tail and Kanato's finger pressed behind his balls and the sigil glowing gold under his skin — and Akira's whole body locked, spine bowing, thighs shaking, mouth open on a sound that had no shape at all. His cock jerked against Kanato's palm and his balls drew up tight and every muscle in his body pulled toward a center that wasn't going to give — and then the wave crested and broke and nothing came out.

Nothing. Not a drop. His body convulsed through the whole of it, through every spasm of a climax that had nowhere to go, and his cock stayed hard and aching and unsatisfied, and the heat that should have drained out of him just — stayed. Pooled. Built. Akira sobbed into the pillow and his hips kept rolling, kept chasing, and there was nothing to chase.

"Oh, that was a good one," Hibari said softly. He'd lifted his mouth off the tail and was watching Akira's face with open delight. "Kanato, did you see his face? He didn't even know it was coming."

"I saw." Kanato's hand had gone still, cupped warm around Akira's cock, holding him through the aftershocks. "That's the contract, isn't it. He can come all he wants. He just can't finish."

"Mm." Hibari stroked the tail, slow, base to tip, and Akira's oversensitive body jerked at every pass. "No cock ring. No blocker. Nothing but the contract. He could do that all night and still be hard at the end of it."

"How many was that?"

"Three." Hibari counted on his fingers against Akira's thigh, tapping each one. "The first one when you had your fingers in him. The second one when I had the tail. And that one." He grinned. "Three dry ones. And he's not even close to done."

Akira heard the words. He heard them from very far away, from the bottom of a well, and they arrived in pieces — three, dry, not done — and he wanted to argue, wanted to say something, wanted to point out that he couldn't possibly take any more, that his body was one raw nerve from scalp to soles, that if either of them touched him again he would come apart. What came out of his mouth was:

"Hnn—Hibari—"

"I know." Hibari's voice was warm. "I know, baby. You're doing so good."

"I can't—"

"You can."

"It's—" Akira's hips twitched. Kanato's hand was still there, still warm, still holding him, and every tiny shift of Kanato's palm sent a fresh wave of too-much through him. "It's too—"

"Shh." Kanato's thumb stroked once, feather-light, along the length of him, and Akira's whole body shuddered. "You're going to be so sensitive by the end of this. You know that, right? Every one makes the next one worse. That's what the website said." He said it the way you'd tell a child about a roller coaster — gentle, matter-of-fact, absolutely certain. "By the time we let you come, you're going to feel every inch of it for a week."

Akira's eyes went wide. "You're—you're not going to—"

"Not yet." Kanato smiled. It was the same smile he wore when he was winning at cards. "We haven't even started on the list."

And that was when Akira heard it — the sound he'd been hearing for the last minute without registering it, the long metallic zip of something opening, and he turned his head on the pillow and there it was, on the bed beside his hip, where Hibari had set it while Akira was drowning in his own body.

The leather case. Open.

Akira's stomach dropped through the mattress.

He knew that case. He'd seen it open on the floor of Kanato's apartment once, weeks ago, and had looked away so fast his neck had hurt. Now he couldn't look away. The lamplight lay along the open lid and turned the contents into something almost clinical — rows of them, nestled in cut foam, each in its own little bed.

Anal beads, graduated, the last one flared into a plug shaped like a tail. A vibrator, sleek and matte-black, small enough to fit in a palm. A pair of nipple suckers, glass and rose-gold, catching the light like something out of a jewelry box. And at the end of the row, longest, thinnest, a slender rod with a furred sleeve over it, tapered to a rounded point.

Akira's mouth had gone dry. His body, which a moment ago had been nothing but heat and noise, went very quiet and very cold, the way a room goes when someone turns off a machine.

"Kanato." It came out as a whisper. "Kanato, that's—"

"Mm-hm." Kanato wasn't looking at him. He had the paper up again, folded in one hand, and he was reading it with the unhurried concentration of a man checking a shopping list against his cart. "Next spot. 'Tail base, underside.'" He glanced over the top of the page, and his eyes were bright and pleased and absolutely without mercy. "That's the one we just did. But the list says it's the base specifically. Not the whole tail."

"We've been doing the base," Hibari said from behind Akira. He was still holding the tail, loose now, thumb stroking the underside in slow absent circles, and every circle sent a small live current up Akira's spine. "We've been doing it with our mouths. The list says there's a way to do it with the plug."

"There's a way to do it with the plug," Kanato agreed.

"Then we should do it with the plug."

"We should."

They were talking over him. Around him. The way you talk over a piece of furniture you're about to move. Akira lay on his back with his wrists cuffed above his head and his legs splayed and his tail in Hibari's hand, and he listened to the two of them plan his next hour the way he'd once listened to handlers plan his next assignment, and the worst part — the part that made his ears burn and his chest tighten and something low in his belly clench with a heat that had nothing to do with the sigil — was that his body was already answering. Already leaning into Hibari's thumb. Already arching, just slightly, into the empty air where Kanato's hand had been.

Hibari's hand closed around his thigh. Not gentle. A whole palm, fingers spread, pulling him down the sheets until his hips tilted up and his bound arms stretched tight and his heels slid along the bed. The movement was casual and total, the way you'd reposition a doll.

"You've been so good for us, Akira." Hibari's voice was low, right at his ear, warm as bathwater. "Time to see how much more you can take."

Akira's protest came up his throat and died there. He opened his mouth and nothing came out but air, and then Kanato's fingers found the sigil — two of them, flat, tracing the shape of it below his navel — and the heat went through him like a struck match, a bright flare that lit up every nerve between his ribs and his knees. His hips bucked. His cock, which had been lying heavy and spent against his stomach, twitched and lifted and stood.

"There it is," Kanato said softly. "Still with us."

"He's not going anywhere." Hibari's hand was still on his thigh, thumb pressing a slow circle into the muscle. "Look at him. He's not even trying to get away anymore."

"He couldn't if he wanted to." Kanato's fingers slid off the sigil and down, and Akira felt the whole flat of his hand come to rest over Akira's groin — cupping him, cock and balls together, warm and heavy and proprietary. "The contract's got him. He could lie there for six hours and his body would just keep going. That's the thing about it, isn't it, Akira?" He leaned down, and his eyes were very close, amber and dark at the center, and he was smiling. "You can't come unless we say so. And we haven't said so."

"Hnn—" Akira's head turned on the pillow. "Kanato—"

"That's not a no."

"I—" His hips rolled up into Kanato's palm. He couldn't stop them. He'd stopped being able to stop them an hour ago. "I don't—"

"You don't what?" Kanato's hand pressed down, just slightly, and Akira's whole body flinched and arched at once, a broken ah falling out of his mouth. "You don't like it? Is that what you're trying to say?" His thumb moved, one slow stroke up the underside of Akira's cock, root to tip. "Because this says otherwise."

"It's not—" Akira's voice cracked. "It's not—"

"It's not what, baby?" Hibari's hand slid up his thigh, over his hip, and came to rest on his stomach, just above the sigil, warm and still. "Use your words."

Akira tried. He really did. He got as far as I don't like it when you — and then Hibari's other hand took the tail again, lifted it, and dragged the flat of his tongue up the underside from base to tip in one long wet stroke, and the rest of the sentence came apart into a sound that was not a word and not a moan but something torn out of him from underneath.

"That's not words," Kanato observed. He was still stroking, slow and lazy, keeping time with Hibari's tongue. "Hibari, he's not using his words."

"He's trying." Hibari's mouth was still on the tail. The words came out warm and wet against the skin. "He got as far as 'I don't.' That's two words."

"Two words is not a sentence."

"It's a start." Hibari licked him again, slower this time, the whole wet width of his tongue pressed flat to the underside, and Akira's spine came off the bed and his bound hands snapped taut and the headboard knocked the wall. "Look at his face, Kanato. Look at what he's doing with his mouth."

Kanato looked. Akira could feel him looking — the weight of those amber eyes moving over his face, his throat, the open shape of his mouth, the wet shine at the corners of his eyes. He tried to close his mouth. He couldn't. His jaw had gone slack and his breath was coming in short hot huffs and every time Hibari's tongue moved, a new sound came out of him, small and rhythmic and absolutely beyond his control.

"Hnn—ah—Hibari—"

"There he goes." Kanato's voice had dropped into that low pleased register, the one that meant he'd found something and was going to keep pressing it. "That's the sound. That's the one from the recording."

Akira's eyes flew open.

"Not that recording." Kanato's thumb pressed, just under the head, and Akira's whole body jerked. "The other one. The one I made of you when you were asleep on my couch. You make that sound in your sleep, Akira. Did you know that?"

"You—" Akira's voice came out wrecked. "You didn't—"

"I did." Kanato's smile was small and terrible. "Hibari's heard it. Seraph's heard it. We all know what you sound like when you're dreaming about being touched." He tilted his head. "Do you want to know what you were dreaming about?"

"Nn—"

"You were saying my name." Kanato's hand moved again, one long slow pull, and Akira's hips followed it up off the bed like they were tied to it. "Over and over. In your sleep. Like you couldn't help it."

Hibari laughed against the tail, and the vibration went straight up Akira's spine and turned into a moan that came out high and thin and humiliated. He could feel his face burning. He could feel his ears burning. He could feel the wet at the corners of his eyes starting to slip, and he turned his head into his own shoulder to hide it, and Hibari's free hand caught his chin and turned him back.

"Don't hide," Hibari said. "We like watching you."

"I—"

"You're so pretty when you're embarrassed." Hibari's thumb dragged across his lower lip, pressing it down, holding his mouth open. "Look at this. You can't even close your mouth. You're just lying there with your mouth open and your eyes wet and your hips moving, and you're not even doing it on purpose, are you? You're just—" he pressed the thumb in, just the tip, just past the lip, "—doing it."

Akira made a sound around Hibari's thumb. It wasn't a word. It was barely a sound. It was the noise a person makes when they've run out of the ability to make any other noise, and it came up out of his chest and broke against the back of his teeth and Hibari's eyes went bright and delighted.

"Oh, that's good." Hibari pulled his thumb out, slow, dragging it wet across Akira's lip. "Kanato, did you hear that?"

"I heard it." Kanato's hand had gone still again, cupped warm around Akira's cock, holding him through the small helpless rolls of his hips. "He's not even trying to talk anymore. He's just making noise."

"He's been making noise for twenty minutes."

"He's been making different noise for twenty minutes." Kanato's eyes moved down Akira's body, slow, the way a man reads a page he's already decided to buy. "Every spot makes a different one. Did you notice? The sigil makes him gasp. The tail makes him scream. The—" he pressed two fingers behind Akira's balls, into the soft skin at the base, and Akira's whole lower body clenched and his voice came out in a long wavering hnnnn that ended in a sob, "—that one makes him do that."

"Do it again."

Kanato did it again.

Akira's back arched. His bound wrists twisted in the cuffs. His cock jumped in Kanato's hand and his balls drew up tight and every muscle from his knees to his shoulders pulled toward a center that had nothing to give — and the wave crested and broke and nothing came out. Nothing. His body convulsed through the whole of it, through every spasm of a climax with nowhere to go, and his cock stayed hard and aching and unsatisfied, and the heat that should have drained out of him just pooled and built and settled deeper.

"Four," Hibari said, sounding pleased. "That's four."

Akira sobbed into the pillow. His hips were still rolling, still chasing, and there was nothing to chase, and the worst part was that the orgasm hadn't even felt like an orgasm — it had felt like a door slamming in his face, over and over, each one leaving him more awake instead of less, more sensitive instead of satisfied, the way a wound gets more tender every time you press it.

"Look at him," Kanato said softly. "He's not coming down. He's going up."

"That's the contract." Hibari's hand was back on the tail, stroking it slow, base to tip, and Akira's oversensitive body jerked at every pass. "The website said it. Every dry one makes the next one worse. He could do this all night and still be hard at the end of it." He grinned down at Akira, and there was real affection in it, and real teeth. "He's not even close to done."

"Hibari—" Akira's voice was barely a voice. "Hibari, please—"

"Please what?"

"Please—" He didn't know. He didn't know what he was asking for. His hips were rolling in a slow helpless rhythm now, up into Kanato's hand and down onto the sheets, and Hibari's mouth was back on his tail — not licking this time, just breathing on it, warm and wet, and the anticipation was worse than the touch, worse than anything, and Akira's eyes were wet at the corners and he didn't know when that had happened. "Please, I can't—it's too—"

"I can't—"

"Five." Hibari counted on his fingers against Akira's thigh, tapping each one. "The first one when you had your fingers in him. The second one when I had the tail. The third one when you kissed the sigil. And that one." He grinned. "Five dry ones. And he's not even close to done."

Akira heard the words. He heard them from very far away, from the bottom of a well, and they arrived in pieces — five, dry, not done — and he wanted to argue, wanted to say something, wanted to point out that he couldn't possibly take any more, that his body was one raw nerve from scalp to soles, that if either of them touched him again he would come apart. What came out of his mouth was:

"Hnn—Hibari—"

"I can't—"

"You can."

Akira's stomach dropped through the mattress.

Hibari's hand moved without permission.

That was the thing Akira would understand later, in the cold blue hour when he could think again — Hibari hadn't meant it. Hibari's hand had been moving all night, stroking, teasing, holding, and when Akira's hips rolled up into Kanato's palm and that sound came out of him — that high, broken, *wanting* sound — Hibari's hand just... moved. Slid up Akira's jaw. Over his cheek. Settled over his eyes, palm flat, fingers spread, pressing the darkness down like a lid.

"There," Hibari breathed, arousal thick in his voice. "That's it. Just feel—"

And the world went black.

Not the soft black of closed eyes. Not the dim black of a dark room. The black of a hand clamped over your face, of fingers pressed to your temples, of being held down and blind and helpless while someone decided what happened next.

Akira's body went rigid.

Not the good kind of rigid — not the arching, wanting, *please* rigidity of the last hour. This was different. This was the rigidity of a man who has just heard a door lock behind him. Every muscle in his body locked at once, his spine snapping straight against the mattress, his bound hands yanking so hard at the cuffs that the leather creaked and the headboard slammed the wall. His breath stopped. His heart — his heart was suddenly everywhere, in his throat, in his ears, in the hollow of his chest, pounding like it was trying to get out.

The darkness had texture. He could feel it. He could feel the weight of Hibari's palm against his eyelids, the warmth of it, the faint callus at the base of the thumb, and it was too much, it was nothing, it was the whole world reduced to one point of contact and he couldn't see — he couldn't see — he couldn't see what was coming.

A sound tore out of his throat. It wasn't a moan. It wasn't a whimper. It was a strangled, animal sound, the noise a man makes when the floor drops out from under him, and his body started to shake — fine, violent tremors running through his thighs, his stomach, his bound arms, like a wire pulled too tight.

"Akira?"

Hibari's voice. Far away. Confused.

"Akira, what—"

And then, from somewhere beside them, Kanato's voice — sharp, sudden, cutting through the fog of the last hour like a blade through silk:

"Hibari. *Hibari.* Your hand."

Hibari's hand left his eyes.

The light came back in a rush, too bright, too much, and Akira's eyes flew open — wide, glassy, the pupils blown so dark they'd swallowed the brown — and his mouth was open and his chest was heaving and there was a sound coming out of him that he couldn't stop, a thin, high, keening sound, the sound of a man trying to breathe through a throat that had forgotten how.

"Akira. Akira, I'm sorry—"

Hibari's voice was ragged now, stripped of all its teasing brightness. His hand was hovering in the air between them, frozen, like he didn't know what to do with it anymore. "I didn't mean—I wasn't thinking, I just—"

But Akira couldn't hear him. Akira was somewhere else.

He was in a room he couldn't see. He was on a table he couldn't remember being put on. He was three years old, he was thirteen, he was twenty, he was every age at once, and there were hands on him, and he couldn't see them, he couldn't see anything, and the last time he'd been blind like this they'd — they'd —

"Iyaa..." The word came out of him in a whisper, broken, barely a sound. "Iyaa... yamete..."

Please. Stop.

His body curled without his permission. Not toward them — away. His knees drew up, his shoulders curved in, his bound hands pulled down toward his chest like he could protect himself with them, like he could make himself smaller, harder to reach, and the cuffs creaked and the leather bit into his wrists and he didn't feel it. He didn't feel anything except the dark, the weight of it, the memory of it.

"Akira." Kanato's voice was suddenly very close. Very low. Very careful, the way you speak to a man standing on the edge of a roof. "Akira, look at me. Look at my face."

But Akira couldn't look. His eyes were open but they weren't seeing — they were fixed on something a thousand miles away, on a wall that wasn't there, on a room that didn't exist anymore. His breath was coming in short, sharp gasps, too fast, too shallow, and his hands were shaking so hard the cuffs rattled against the headboard.

"He's not here," Hibari said. His voice was hollow. "Kanato, he's not — he's not in the room."

"I know."

Kanato moved. Fast, the way he moved when something mattered, all the lazy pleasure gone from his face. His hands found Akira's wrists — not to hold them, not to pin them, but to work the buckles. One, two, three, the leather falling away, and Akira's hands dropped to the mattress like they'd been cut loose, and Kanato caught them before they could fall too far and folded them against Akira's chest.

"Okay," Kanato said. "Okay. You're okay. You're safe. You're in our bed, Akira. You're in our apartment. It's just us. It's just me and Hibari."

He said it steadily, over and over, the same words in the same order, the way you'd anchor a man to a cliff face. And all the while his hands were moving — not touching skin, not yet, just hovering, giving Akira room to see them, to know they weren't going to grab.

"You're safe," Kanato repeated. "We're not going to hurt you. We're not going to do anything you don't want. Can you hear me, Akira? Can you hear my voice?"

Akira's gasps were slowing. Not stopping — slowing. His eyes were still fixed on that faraway wall, but something in them was shifting, coming back, like a man surfacing from deep water. His lips moved. No sound came out.

"That's it," Kanato said. "That's good. Keep breathing. You're doing so well."

And then, from behind him, a small broken sound — Hibari's voice, wrecked:

"I didn't know. Kanato, I swear, I didn't — I just wanted him to feel it more, I wasn't thinking, I forgot, I *forgot*—"

"I know." Kanato didn't turn. His eyes were on Akira, on the slow return of him, the way a man watches a flame catch again after a gust. "I know you didn't mean it. We'll talk about it after. Right now we take care of him."

"Iyaa..." Akira's voice came again, smaller this time, barely a breath. "Yamete... yamete kudasai..."

Please stop. Please.

He didn't know where he was. That was the worst of it. The words were coming out of him and he didn't know if they were for the room or for the memory, for Hibari and Kanato or for the hands that had held him down twenty years ago. He just knew he needed it to stop, needed the dark to go away, needed someone to tell him where he was and what was going to happen next and that he was going to be allowed to see it coming.

"Shh. Shh." Kanato's voice dropped, softened, wrapped around him. "I've got you. I've got you, baby. You're safe. Nothing's going to happen to you. We're right here."

And then, slowly, carefully, the way you'd approach a wounded animal, Kanato moved up the bed. He didn't grab. He didn't pull. He just settled himself against the headboard and opened his arms and waited.

"Come here," he said. "Come here, Akira. Let me hold you."

For a long moment, Akira didn't move. His body was still curled, still small, still braced against a blow that had already landed twenty years ago. But his eyes were coming back — inch by inch, breath by breath, the way a man comes back from a drowning. He blinked. He looked at Kanato's face. He looked at Kanato's open arms.

And then he moved.

Not a lunge. Not a collapse. A slow, unsteady crawl up the bed, his limbs shaking, his breath still hitching, until he reached Kanato's chest and Kanato's arms closed around him and the whole rigid line of his body finally, finally broke.

The sob came out of him like something physical, like a bone being pulled loose. He pressed his face into Kanato's shoulder and cried — not the pretty crying of a man in pain, but the ugly, helpless crying of a man who has just come back from somewhere terrible and doesn't know yet if he's allowed to believe it's over.

"I've got you," Kanato murmured. "I've got you. You're safe. You're safe. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, baby. I'm so sorry."

His hand moved in slow circles on Akira's back, wide and steady, the way you'd soothe a child after a nightmare. He didn't say *it's okay* — because it wasn't okay, not yet, not for any of them. He just held him and murmured and let him cry, and behind them Hibari sat frozen on the mattress, his hands in his lap, his face white, watching the man he'd accidentally broken fall apart in someone else's arms.

"I'm sorry," Hibari whispered. His voice cracked. "Akira, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean — I wasn't thinking — I forgot. I forgot what I was doing. I just wanted you to feel good and I wasn't thinking."

Akira didn't answer. He couldn't. His face was buried in Kanato's shoulder and his whole body was shaking with the force of the sobs, and every time he tried to speak the words came out as sound, as nothing, as the same broken keening that had torn out of him when the dark came down.

"He's not ready," Kanato said quietly. Not an accusation. A fact. "Give him a minute."

Hibari nodded. The motion was too fast, too jerky. His hands were gripping his own knees hard enough that the knuckles had gone white. He looked at Akira's bare back — at the curve of his spine, the wings of his shoulder blades, the faint gold glow of the sigil still pulsing under his skin — and his face crumpled.

"I'm sorry," he said again. Smaller this time. "I'm so sorry."

Akira's sobs were slowing. The gasps were evening out, the shaking coming in longer and longer waves. Kanato kept murmuring — *you're safe, I've got you, you're okay* — and kept his hand moving, slow and steady, and after a long time Akira's hands, which had been fisted in Kanato's chest, slowly uncurled.

"Hibari." It came out as a croak. Akira's voice was wrecked, scraped raw. "Hibari, I—"

"I'm here." Hibari moved before he finished, crawling up the bed, stopping just short of touching. "I'm here, Akira. I'm not going anywhere."

Akira lifted his head. His eyes were red, swollen, wet. His face was blotchy. He looked like a man who had been pulled out of a river. And he looked at Hibari — really looked at him, for the first time since the dark came down — and his mouth worked.

"You didn't know," he said. It came out rough, broken. "You didn't—you didn't mean to. I know you didn't mean to."

"I didn't." Hibari's voice cracked again. "I swear, Akira, I didn't. I just—I got carried away. I wasn't thinking. I forgot what—what it does to you. I'm so sorry."

Akira's throat worked. He looked at Kanato, then back at Hibari. And then, slowly, carefully, he reached out and took Hibari's hand.

"It's okay," he said. His voice was still wrecked, still raw, but it was steady now. "It's okay. I'm okay. You didn't know."

Hibari's face crumpled completely. He made a sound — a small, wounded sound — and then he was moving, closing the distance, wrapping his arms around Akira and Kanato both, pressing his face into Akira's hair.

"I'm sorry," he said into it. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry—"

"I know." Akira's voice was muffled against Kanato's shoulder. His hand came up and found Hibari's wrist and held it. "I know. It's okay."

They stayed like that for a long time. The three of them tangled together on the bed, Akira in the center, held from both sides, the leather case still open at the foot of the mattress, the toys still laid out in their foam beds like an accusation. The lamplight was warm and low. The city hummed outside. And slowly, very slowly, Akira's breathing evened out into something that wasn't a gasp.

"I need to clean you up," Kanato said eventually. His voice was gentle. "Is that okay? Can I clean you up?"

Akira was quiet for a long moment. Then he nodded.

"Okay," he said. "Okay."

Kanato moved slowly. He didn't ask Akira to move, didn't try to reposition him — he just reached for the warm damp cloth he'd left on the nightstand hours ago, and began to wipe Akira's skin. Gently. Carefully. The way you'd clean a wound.

He started with Akira's face. The tears, the sweat, the smeared evidence of everything that had happened. Then his neck, his chest, the soft skin over his collarbones. And as he worked, the evidence of the night emerged — the marks, the bruises, the faint red lines where the cuffs had bitten, the darker mottling along his hips where Kanato's hands had held him down.

Kanato's jaw tightened, but he didn't stop. He kept wiping, kept moving, kept murmuring — *you're doing so well, almost done, you're so good* — and Akira lay there with his eyes half-closed, letting himself be taken care of.

And then, somewhere between Kanato's hand on his hip and Hibari's voice murmuring something soft against his hair, Akira's eyes slipped closed.

Really closed. Not the flutter of a man fighting sleep. The heavy, total close of a man who has finally, finally let go.

His breathing deepened. His body, which had been strung tight as a wire for hours, went soft and heavy against Kanato's chest. His hand, still wrapped around Hibari's wrist, loosened.

Kanato froze. The cloth was in his hand, halfway to Akira's thigh, and he froze.

"Hibari," he said. His voice was strange. "Hibari, look."

Hibari looked. And then his face did something complicated — relief and guilt and something raw and aching all at once.

"He's asleep," Hibari breathed. "He's actually asleep."

Kanato didn't answer. He was looking down at Akira's face — at the slack, peaceful line of his mouth, the long lashes against his cheeks, the way his breath came slow and even against Kanato's skin. And something in Kanato's chest cracked open, wide and painful and full.

Akira never slept before he was clean. Never. The survival instinct SPIA had drilled into him wouldn't let him close his eyes until he knew he was safe, knew he was clean, knew he could let go. It was a thing Kanato had learned months ago, a thing they all knew, a thing they'd all come to treat as simply *the way Akira was.*

And now he was asleep. Mid-wipe. With Kanato's hand still on his thigh and Hibari's face still buried in his hair and the leather case still open at the foot of the bed.

He was asleep because he didn't have to stay awake anymore.

He was asleep because — because he trusted them. Because somewhere in the wreckage of the last hour, the part of him that had learned to never close his eyes had decided that this was safe. That these hands were not going to hurt him. That he could let go.

Kanato looked at Hibari. Hibari looked back at him. And both of them saw the same thing in each other's eyes.

*We broke him. And then we fixed him. And he's still here.*

"We should—" Hibari's voice came out rough. He cleared his throat. "We should finish cleaning him up. He'll want to be clean when he wakes up."

Kanato nodded. And he kept wiping — gentle, careful, thorough — working his way down Akira's body, washing away every trace of the night. The marks remained. The bruises, the red lines, the faint gold glow of the sigil. He couldn't wash those away. He didn't try.

But he washed the rest. Every inch. And when he was done, he pulled the blanket up over Akira's shoulders and settled him against his chest, and Hibari curled around his back, and they held him through the night.

In the morning, Akira would wake up. He would be shy, embarrassed, remembering the tears and the safe word and the way he'd fallen apart. He would hide his face in the pillow and refuse to look at them, and they would tease him gently, and the world would be a little bit more okay.

But that was morning. For now, there was only this: the warm weight of him against Kanato's chest, the soft rhythm of his breathing, the knowledge that he had finally, finally let go.

Kanato pressed a kiss to the crown of Akira's head and closed his eyes.

He was asleep before he finished the thought.
